Nestled in the wooded hills of Spring Green, Wisconsin, Cedar Valley Preserve claims 500 acres of unglaciated countryside bordering the Lower Wisconsin State Riverway. Cedar Valley Preserve has rapidly become Southern Wisconsin’s premier destination for upland birds from October 1 thru early April & spring turkey hunting. Unlike traditional hunt clubs, Cedar Valley Preserve is known for its personable, family-orientated atmosphere and rustic charm thus a popular retreat for sportsmen, nature enthusiasts, families and friends.

Cedar Valley’s landscape of hills and valleys with springs for water, and a good mix of woods and crops make a perfect habitat for wild turkeys. The farm is 500 acres and is open to all for spring turkey hunting. The cost for a turkey season is $350. Cedar Valley Preserve follows the Wisconsin DNR turkey rules and seasons so you need to apply for a season and a license.

We are proud to partner with High Brass Sporting Dogs and Guide Service. If you’re looking to get your dog polished for obedience and hunting, we highly recommend contacting Brian Stichter. Brian has been training dogs for over 12 years and takes a one-on-one approach with every client.
Whether you’ve come for the day or plan to stay through the weekend, Cedar Valley’s 8,000 square foot lodge will be waiting to provide you and your guests the comfort and accommodations you require for an enjoyable stay. The Lodge is fully-equipped from top to bottom in “Five Star” amenities. From the moment you walk through the front door, you’ll immediately experience the quality and elegance of this rustic retreat. The first floor will greet you with a warm, comfortable seating area, accented by a stone fireplace where guests can enjoy refreshments or catch their favorite sports team on the 48″ HD television.
The first floor has the locker room area which features handcrafted, hickory lockers and a bathroom along with a shower. Completing the first level of The Lodge is our bunk room with guest rooms available and access to bathrooms.
As you make your way upstairs, you’ll enter the true living quarters where you’ll enjoy a dining area, full kitchen, a cozy seating area by the fireplace, a bathroom and a bar featuring a 80″ HD flat screen television. The kitchen is available to guests and equipped with culinary needs for you to prepare your own meals. (Catered meals are available upon request for an extra fee.) Adjoining this area is a board room available for conducting meetings or hosting private parties. This rustic room, offering a magnificent view of the property, is fully-equipped with Wi-Fi wireless internet access. Flip charts, LCD projectors, and a screen are available for your use upon request. The second floor also provides access to a large, upper deck for relaxing, a gas grill for outdoor dining as well as a designated ‘cigar room’.
Finishing off the lodge is our third level, containing one full bathroom and guest room.
Lodge is equipped with 17 beds with an overnight capacity of 25 guest.
Non-members: room rate of $150 per night, $900/$1,100 for the lodge per night depending on how many rooms.
Members: Choice of one bed at a rate of $50 per night or $100 per room for multiple beds. $600/$800 for the lodge per night depending on how many rooms.
*Room rates do not include tax. Guests have up to 48 hours before their stay to cancel their reservations without charge.
No Pets are allowed in the lodge.
Heated Dog Kennels are complimentary for our lodging guests.
We have a dog friendly 4 bedroom farmhouse available from Oct.1 – April 10 at $350/night.
